Is your asphalt driveway nearing the end of its useful life? Now is the perfect opportunity to have it done once, and have it done right. When considering a Buffalo Grove driveway replacement, having an experienced Buffalo Grove asphalt contractor on your side is a huge advantage. We have the team, equipment, and experience to have your new driveway installed and ready to use quickly and efficiently, with as little disruption to you as possible. First we will remove your existing driveway with our heavy equipment. Then we will correctly grade and slope the site, to ensure ample drainage. We get a lot of rain and snow here in Buffalo Grove, Illinois, so we want to make sure your pavement drains well! Water penetration is the number one cause of cracks, potholes, and divots. This could well be the most important step! Next, we will prepare the area with new base and sub-base material. This foundation is key to a good installation, because it will give your driveway maximum strength and stability. We will roll and compact the sub-base, to ensure a solid foundation. The next step is placing an asphalt binder in layers on top of this prepared surface. This binder is a mixture of clay, sand, and rock. It will be compacted with our heavy equipment to create the finished surface. The final step in our process is adding top dressing asphalt that has been mixed with sand, small aggregate, and oil. This final layer is what gives you a smooth ride and a beautiful black finish. We will give this layer a final compaction with our roller, and you’ll be left with a beautiful smooth driveway, that will last for 25 years or more, with the correct maintenance. Buffalo Grove, officially the Village of Buffalo Grove, is a village in Lake and Cook County, Illinois. A suburb of Chicago, it lies about 30 miles (50 km) northwest of Downtown Chicago.[a] As of the 2020 Census, Buffalo Grove has a population of 43,212. It totals 9.6 square miles (25 km2) of land, with the top three-quarters in Lake County and the bottom quarter in Cook County. Roads in the village such as Lake Cook Road and Illinois Route 83 converge on I-294, which take drivers to O’Hare International Airport 20 miles (32 km) south of Buffalo Grove.

Before westward expansion, Native American Potawatomi tribes inhabited the present area. The name “Buffalo Grove” comes from the English translation of the Potawatomi name for Buffalo Creek, which flows through some of the village.[8] Initial Homesteaders sold their land to agricultural Catholic German immigrants, who established St. Mary’s Church and a school. The rural area changed minimally until post-Korean War developers bought and suburbanized the region for veterans. After being incorporated in 1958, Buffalo Grove experienced a population boom for the next three decades and hosted a 50th Anniversary Celebration in 2008.
